Welcome to Brookland-West Columbia Community and Housing Development Corporation (BWCCHDC). Where we are “Changing Lives, Block by Block.” We are a non-profit, 501 © (3) community and housing development corporation. Our services and outreach activities were initially focused in the West Columbia area of Lexington County, but have since expanded into Lexington and Richland County. Our mission is to provide low-income individuals or families with safe, decent, affordable housing. Additionally, BWCCHDC assist low-income individuals with home repairs, to obtain housing and eventually encourage them to become homeowners.
